The MD Asia Pacific Head of Industry Group, Investment Banking, is responsible for leading sector coverage across Asia Pacific, driving strategic client engagement, business origination, and revenue growth. The role works closely with global and regional coverage teams and partners extensively with product specialists across Corporate & Investment Banking, Global Markets, Capital Markets, Transaction Banking, and other key business units to deliver integrated client solutions and deepen strategic relationships.

This is a Managing Director-level position with responsibility for leading a regional team based in Singapore and across other APAC locations. In addition to direct reports, local relationship managers in various APAC countries will maintain a dotted reporting line to this role alongside their reporting to respective country coverage heads, ensuring coordinated regional client coverage and consistent execution of sector strategy.

• 20+ years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking, including significant leadership experience coverage industry sectors within a leading global or regional financial institution
• Demonstrated success in building and growing a sector franchise across APAC, with strong relationships at the C-suite and Board level
• Deep knowledge of investment banking, corporate banking, capital markets, transaction banking, and global markets products, with a proven track record of originating and executing complex transactions
• Proven ability to lead within a complex, matrixed organisation, influencing senior stakeholders across coverage, product, risk, legal, finance, operations
• Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications or an advanced degree is advantageous
