This is a leading commodities trading company with a global presence and a strong focus on energy and metals. Due to continued expansion in Asia, there is an opportunity for a Risk Manager to join the Risk team in Singapore. The primary objective of this role is to enhance risk management frameworks, monitor market and credit exposures, and support decision-making processes through robust analytics and reporting.

职责

Reporting to the Head of Risk, the Risk Manager will validate risk models, enhancing automation processes, and supporting the implementation of new systems. Additionally, the position includes preparing risk reports and providing insights to senior management and stakeholders

要求

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline, with 3 – 5 years of experience in risk management within commodities trading. Proficiency in risk analysis tools and coding skills (e.g., Python, VBA) is highly advantageous. A deep understanding of derivatives and physical trading in energy and metals markets is essential. You will be described as analytical, with the ability to work in a high-paced environment.
