This is a well-established trading firm with a strong foothold in commodities. As part of its continued growth in Asia, there is now an opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join the credit team in Singapore. The role will focus on managing credit risk, ensuring robust processes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the firm’s trading activities.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Credit, the Senior Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for credit assessments, credit advisory to the Front Office and assigning credit ratings and limits for counterparties. This role involves regular credit reviews, on-site visits, and negotiations with credit insurance brokers. The successful candidate will maintain strong relationships with key counterparties and financial institutions, monitor global and industry credit events, and provide credit advisory support to traders. He/She will also oversee daily credit risk reporting, ensure adherence to group credit policies, and contribute to credit-related projects and initiatives as part of the global credit team.

Requirements
The successful candidate is a degree holder in Finance, Business, or a related discipline, with 5-8 years of experience in credit risk within financial institutions, commodities trading, or the metals and mining industry. Experience in reviewing Asian counterparties is essential. You will be described as having strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced trading environment and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
