Exclusive Search: APAC Legal Counsel, 5-8PQE

We are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a global consumer brand to appoint an experienced Legal Counsel for its APAC regional operations.

This newly created role forms part of the regional legal team and reports to a senior lawyer. You will work closely with stakeholders across APAC, providing strategic guidance on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters to support business expansion and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (including distribution, logistics, SaaS, sponsorship, and licensing).
• Advise on data privacy and protection matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support product compliance, sustainability, and licensing initiatives in the consumer goods sector.
• Provide guidance on employment law and HR compliance issues.
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel where required.
• Collaborate with global legal and cross-functional teams on IP, data, and regulatory projects.
• Deliver pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to enable effective decision-making.

Candidate Profile
The role will suit a commercially minded lawyer with solid in-house and/or international law firm experience. Prior exposure to Middle Eastern markets would be advantageous.
