Finance Operations Manager, APAC

About the Role
This is a high-impact Regional Finance Operations Manager role supporting the growth and scaling of the finance function across Asia Pacific. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the position will oversee finance operations, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements through automation, standardisation, and optimisation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily financial operations across accounts receivable, general ledger, tax, and month-end close activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Manage and mentor a lean regional finance team while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture. Strengthen internal controls, governance frameworks, and finance processes to support compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Support regional ERP implementation and migration initiatives, while driving automation and process optimisation projects. Partner with the business on market expansion initiatives by supporting financial assessments, regulatory requirements, and operational setup activities. Manage regional tax compliance matters including GST, SST, corporate income tax, and fringe benefits tax obligations. Act as a key finance partner to internal and external stakeholders, resolving operational and compliance-related matters while contributing to broader finance transformation initiatives.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate should bring at least 6 years of experience in financial operations and reporting, with strong regional exposure across Asia Pacific. Proven capability in managing finance operations, strengthening controls, driving reporting excellence, and leading lean teams is essential. Strong knowledge of regional tax and statutory requirements across Singapore, Australia/New Zealand, and Malaysia is required. Exposure to ERP implementation or migration projects will be advantageous. Operating within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, the role partners closely with regional business leaders, tax and treasury teams, and banking partners across multiple markets. The ideal individual will be hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating autonomously within a fast-paced and evolving environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, scalability, and operational excellence.
