The Head of Syndications will lead the bank’s syndicated finance business across Asia by originating, structuring, underwriting and distributing syndicated loan transactions. Our client is seeking a commercially driven leader with strong execution capabilities, extensive market connectivity and the ability to balance client outcomes, capital efficiency and risk management. This person is recognised as a trusted advisor to clients and a respected market participant within the Asian syndicated loan market.
The role will partner closely with Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Coverage, Credit Risk, Treasury and Legal teams to deliver successful transactions. Additionally, this person will play key role in leading the regional syndication strategy and manage the transaction pipeline, originate and execute syndicated loans across Corporate, Acquisition, Leverage, Project, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Sustainable Finance.

- 15+ years of experience in Syndicated Finance, Leverage Finance, Project Finance or Structured Finance within an international or regional bank.
- Strong track record executing large cross-border syndicated loan transactions across Asia along with established relationships with regional lenders, institutional investors and private credit participants.
- Deep understanding of credit structuring, underwriting, loan documentation (LMA/APLMA) and risk management.
- Proven leadership experience managing regional teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline; CFA is preferred.
