This is a global energy conglomerate with an impressive asset portfolio, with trading centres across Asia, Europe and the Americas. The Group’s high performing LNG trading team is now on the search for an experienced and highly accomplished LNG spot trader.

Role
Reporting to the Head of LNG Trading, the LNG Trader is responsible for developing LNG trading opportunities. He/ She will lead the negotiations and review of LNG contracts, optimizing short-term trading opportunities while minimizing risk exposure. As the experienced member of the LNG trading team, the LNG trader will also independently originate, establish and maintain the LNG network both internally and externally. He/ she will also be expected to work seamlessly with the operations and logistics teams to ensure the successful fulfilment of the LNG contracts.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a minimum of ten years ‘experience in LNG trading. You will have a stellar P&L track record in LNG spot trading and be recognised as an expert in the LNG markets. You will also be described as a highly skilled negotiator, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
