VP – Finance Controller (Hedge Fund)

Our client is seeking an experienced finance professional to support end-to-end finance operations and systems initiatives within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role covers core accounting operations alongside involvement in system implementations and process improvement initiatives.

You will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger activities, invoice processing, employee expense claims via SAP Concur, intercompany billings, bank reconciliations, payment preparation, and month-end reporting. The role also involves liaising closely with business stakeholders on charge codes, invoice clarifications, and expense-related queries, ensuring compliance with internal policies and timelines.

In addition, you will support and oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements for licensed entities, including GST/VAT, corporate income tax, and transfer pricing matters. You will manage the year-end audit process, work closely with external auditors, and prepare statutory financial statements. Exposure to cross-border transactions is essential, and experience supporting India entities would be advantageous.
