VP,Third Party Risk Management (MAS TPRM Important)

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead and operationalize the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework across the APAC region. This role will focus on the full lifecycle of third-party risk – including identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting – while ensuring strong governance through well-defined policies, procedures, and standards.

Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk control measures, embedding best practices in due diligence for third-party service providers and outsourcing arrangements. A strong understanding of operational resilience – including business continuity, technology risk, and operational risk – is essential.

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the timely completion of all TPRM deliverables and the effective resolution of key risk issues. The individual will assess third-party risk incidents and trends, translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience, and act as a trusted subject matter expert when advising on new product launches, outsourcing initiatives, and vendor engagements. The role also involves reporting to senior management at relevant risk committees and driving a strong risk-aware culture across the organization.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of outsourcing, third-party, technology, and operational risk frameworks, along with familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as MAS TPRM/TRM guidelines,
