Overview

A leading global energy group with strong operational discipline and a commitment to financial excellence is seeking an Accountant to support critical payment activities and contribute to wider financial reporting workflows. Role

Reporting to the Accounting Head, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all payment activities, ensuring seamless end‑to‑end AP processing. Acting as the primary contact for payment‑related matters, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly and maintain smooth daily operations. Beyond AP responsibilities, the role provides meaningful exposure to financial accounting, including support for statutory reporting, quarterly management submissions and variance analysis. You will also contribute to ad‑hoc initiatives and provide coverage across the team to ensure continuity of key finance processes.

The successful candidate brings at least 3 years of hands‑on Accounts Payable experience, with a Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, AP workflows, and SAP is essential. Experience in the commodities sector or involvement in system enhancement or implementation projects will be advantageous. You are best described as detail‑oriented, proactive, adaptable and tech‑savvy, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage tight timelines with accuracy.
