Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Technology Consulting Firm- HK based

We are partnering with a fast-growing US-based IT consulting firm to hire a strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role will drive operational excellence, scale delivery capabilities, and improve consultant productivity to support the firm’s growth.

Role

You will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s operational roadmap to support rapid growth and client success. This includes streamlining delivery frameworks, optimizing resource allocation, and embedding data-driven decision-making across departments—from project execution and people operations to client management and finance.

A key focus will be maximizing consultant productivity and improving billability through better workforce planning, project governance, and utilization tracking. You will scale global consulting operations, strengthen internal controls, and enhance service delivery across ERP, CRM and AI domains. You will oversee operational KPIs, and ensure commercial and contractual excellence.

Requirement

You are a seasoned operations leader with 15+ years of experience in IT consulting or professional services. You bring a proven track record of scaling operational functions in high-growth environments and have deep familiarity with project delivery models, client engagement strategies, and people leadership across distributed teams.

You are execution-focused with strong commercial acumen and exceptional leadership skills. Experience with global delivery models, PMO setup, P&L ownership, and driving consultant utilization and billability will be highly valued.
