Head of AI and Data Governance

A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Head of AI & Data Governance to establish and lead its enterprise-wide AI and data governance framework. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the responsible, secure, and compliant use of data and AI across the organisation, while enabling innovation and supporting evolving regulatory requirements. Working closely with senior stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and compliance functions, you will define governance standards and operating models that underpin trusted data and AI capabilities.

职责

You will define and execute the firm’s AI and data governance strategy, including policies, standards, controls, and operating frameworks across data management and AI adoption. This role will oversee key governance domains such as data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data ownership, AI risk management, model governance, and responsible AI practices. You will partner closely with risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, data privacy obligations, and emerging AI governance standards.

You will lead the implementation of governance processes and tools to improve transparency, accountability, and oversight across both data and AI initiatives. This includes establishing frameworks for AI model lifecycle management, validation, explainability, monitoring, and risk controls. Acting as a key advisor to senior leadership, you will drive stakeholder engagement, promote a strong governance culture, and ensure governance objectives remain aligned with business priorities and innovation goals.

要求

You have extensive experience within financial services, with a strong background in data governance, AI governance, data management, risk management, or related disciplines. You have operated in a senior leadership capacity, driving enterprise-wide governance programmes and influencing executive stakeholders. A strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, model risk management, and AI governance principles is essential.

Experience establishing governance frameworks for AI, machine learning, or generative AI initiatives is highly desirable, alongside familiarity with modern data platforms, governance technologies, and cloud environments. You possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to balance innovation, risk management, and regulatory expectations in a complex enterprise environment.
