Head of Cybersecurity and Technology Risk

Our client is a leading organisation operating within a regulated environment, and is seeking an experienced Head of Cybersecurity and Technology Risk to lead its enterprise-wide technology risk and cybersecurity function.

This is a senior leadership appointment, responsible for driving technology risk management, strengthening cyber resilience, and ensuring a robust and secure operating environment in the face of an evolving threat landscape. The role will lead a sizeable team and work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external partners.

• Develop and drive strategies, policies, and frameworks across technology risk management, cybersecurity, and operational resilience
• Oversee risk monitoring and surveillance activities to maintain awareness of emerging technologies, threat landscapes, and vulnerabilities
• Provide oversight of technology risk, cybersecurity, and business continuity practices across critical systems and capabilities
• Lead the establishment and enhancement of risk management and threat intelligence frameworks, including early warning mechanisms and information-sharing initiatives
• Manage and coordinate responses to significant cyber and technology incidents, including crisis management, stakeholder communication, and post-incident reviews
• Engage with industry stakeholders and represent the organisation in relevant forums to strengthen collaboration and ecosystem resilience
• Advise senior leadership on cybersecurity posture, risk exposure, and control effectiveness, ensuring alignment with regulatory and governance expectations

要求

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous
• Extensive experience in technology risk and cybersecurity management in senior leadership roles within large, complex organisations
• Exposure to regulatory environments will be highly regarded
• Strong understanding of financial technology systems, cybersecurity practices, and emerging technologies, and their impact on organisational risk
• Familiarity with audit methodologies, risk frameworks, and cloud security concepts; knowledge of AI-related risks is a plus
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving enterprise-wide initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and external parties
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to balance strategic and operational considerations
• Good awareness of industry practices, regulatory landscapes, and evolving technology risks
