Learning & Development Solutions Lead (2-Year Contract)

Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the design and development of both standardised and customised training programmes, offered in face-to-face or virtual formats, ensuring each solution aligns with client context and business objectives. Core deliverables will include structured training materials such as presentation decks, facilitator and learner guides, and assessment frameworks where required. The role involves direct facilitation of training sessions for external clients, delivering consistent and high-quality learner experiences that reflect the company’s standards.
You will conduct training sessions to coach and prepare internal and external facilitators for programme delivery, ensuring instructional consistency across delivery formats. You will also be responsible for regularly reviewing and enhancing course content based on participant feedback, evaluation scores, and updates in industry trends or regulatory standards. As a subject matter expert, you will support client consultations, provide expert guidance and demonstrate the value of learning solutions. Additionally, you will also be conducting detailed learning needs analyses using a range of data-gathering techniques such as interviews, focus groups, and surveys to develop customised programme proposals. The role also contributes to business development through client presentations and collaboration with internal stakeholders to scope and refine opportunities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience in the learning and development field, with a strong track record in curriculum design and training delivery for both corporate clients and open-enrolment programmes. Professional certifications in adult learning (eg: WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning for Performance (DDDLP) or DACE, and the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or ACTA) would be ideal.
Proven expertise in instructional design in service and operational excellence training, particularly within operations or financial services sectors, would be highly desirable. Strong project management skills, along with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, are required. The role also requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital learning tools such as Zoom, Teams, and assessment platforms. Familiarity with visual design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus.
