You Will Get To…
-Lead the Digital Transformation: Oversee the end-to-end deployment, configuration, and deep integration of core academic systems, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), Student Information Systems (SIS), and assessment platforms across a group of schools.
-Architect Seamless Cloud Solutions: Guide and design the implementation of robust cloud architectures that directly enhance and optimize the teaching and learning experience for thousands of students and educators.
-Drive Automation and Efficiency: Be the champion for automation initiatives, leveraging tools like Power Automate to streamline data flows and significantly improve operational efficiency across the entire organization.
-Ensure Data Integrity: Act as the guardian of academic data, ensuring all systems contain accurate, well-structured, and consistent data, aligning data sets to support ultimate consistency and interoperability.
-Become the Trusted Partner: Act as the crucial liaison between individual schools (understanding their unique curricula and needs) and the central technology team, building strong relationships with school leaders and staff to proactively seek feedback and optimize system usage.
-Solve Complex Challenges: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, engaging with both highly technical specialists and non-technical educators, and ensuring a timely, high-quality user experience.
-Shape Best Practices: Develop, maintain, and roll out clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all schools, ensuring clarity and consistency in system processes.
-Empower Users: Design, deliver, and evaluate impactful training programs that equip school staff with the knowledge to maximize the potential of the academic systems and minimize user errors.
-Influence Strategic Goals: Directly contribute to achieving the strategic goal of leveraging integrated educational technologies and data to transform educational outcomes.
You Will Bring Your Experience of…
-Learning management Applications such as iSAMS, SchoolBox, SchoolsBuddy or Seesaw,
-Ideally some experience of integration platforms like Clever or Wonde would be helpful
-Remote Systems Management: Proven, hands-on experience in remotely managing and successfully deploying enterprise-level academic systems, especially School Information Systems (SIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
-Automation Technologies: Practical experience utilizing automation tools such as Power Automate to drive operational streamlining and data flow efficiency.
-Stakeholder Collaboration: A successful track record of working collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders-from C-suite executives to classroom teachers-and the interpersonal skills to excel as a liaison and relationship builder.
-Rigorous Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills, with the ability to define the scope, break down complex information, and produce workable solutions under pressure.
-API & Security Knowledge: Experience with API architecture (designing, developing, and deploying APIs) and a working knowledge of secure authentication flows like OpenID Connect (OIDC) and OAuth for Single Sign-On (SSO) initiatives.
-Educational Sector Insight: Previous experience within a school environment would be highly valued, either in an end-user or a service provider to one.
