We are partnering with a leading global food ingredients business to appoint a Singapore-based Regional Technical Application Manager to support its continued growth across APAC. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to drive technical excellence, customer engagement, and application innovation across diverse markets.

This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and commercial strategy, supporting customers and distributors with advanced application solutions across a broad dairy ingredients portfolio. The successful candidate will act as the regional subject matter expert, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions and strengthen market positioning.

In this role, you will lead technical support and application development activities across Southeast Asia and the wider APAC region, working closely with customers to conduct product trials, demonstrations, and formulation work that supports innovation and product optimisation. You will partner with commercial teams and distributors to drive solution-based selling, addressing technical challenges throughout the sales cycle while strengthening overall product understanding through training and workshops.

You will collaborate extensively with global R&D and business teams, translating market insights into meaningful application development initiatives and ensuring regional needs are effectively represented. In addition, you will develop technical documentation and contribute to marketing efforts by clearly articulating product value propositions. A key aspect of the role will involve building strong relationships with customers across multiple segments, including dairy, beverages, bakery, confectionery, and specialised nutrition, while staying attuned to market trends and identifying new application and growth opportunities.

Requirement

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science, or a related discipline, with approximately ten or more years of experience in technical application, product development, or customer-facing roles within the food ingredients industry. You will bring strong expertise in dairy or protein-based applications across a range of categories, along with experience operating in a regional or multinational environment.

You will possess strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into commercially relevant insights, and demonstrate a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a track record of driving initiatives. The role requires a high degree of collaboration across functions and geographies, as well as the flexibility to travel across the region.
