Transformation and Change Risk Lead – Commodities Trading

Overview
A leading player commodities trading is seeking a transformation and change lead with specialized experience in Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM). The organization is focused on strengthening its trading, risk, and digital capabilities as part of its broader transformation agenda. This is an opportunity to work closely with front, middle, and back‑office teams to enhance processes, improve risk visibility, and support a high‑performance commercial and trading environment. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Risk.

Role
In this role, you will act as a central liaison across trading, operations, risk, finance, and technology, ensuring business needs are accurately captured and translated into effective CTRM solutions. Assessing current setups, design and configure enhancements, and support integrations with surrounding platforms such as ERP, market data, logistics, and risk engines. Beyond project delivery, you will develop documentation, drive UAT, train users, and provide ongoing support to maximize adoption. You will also contribute to risk‑related workflows including P&L, exposure monitoring, and regulatory compliance while championing continuous improvement across trading processes.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have a degree from a reputable university, along with minimum 10 years’ experience in change and transformation within commodities trading. Those with hands-on experience in commodities trading and related workflows such as cargo operations, logistics, hedging, and pricing will have a distinct advantage. Experience with CTRM platforms is essential, along with solid analytical abilities, to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and a collaborative mindset are key.
