Data Centre Manager
Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Centre Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of their data centres. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical infrastructure, while leading a team of technical professionals.
Requirements:
The Data Centre Manager will oversee both Mechanical & Electrical systems and infrastructure operations, ensuring reliable performance of power, cooling, security, and capacity planning. The role covers developing SOPs, maintaining compliance with industry standards, leading and mentoring a technical team, managing vendors and budgets, supporting co-location customers, and driving projects such as installations, migrations, and upgrades, while providing strategic updates to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in data centre operations and management, with proven exposure to both M&E systems and infrastructure operations.
- Strong knowledge of critical systems including power distribution, cooling, networking, and security.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams in mission-critical environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards, compliance, and best practices.
- Strong communication, customer management, and project management skills.
- Certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, ITIL are preferred.
