Data Centre Manager

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Centre Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of their data centres. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of mission-critical infrastructure, while leading a team of technical professionals.

Requirements:

The Data Centre Manager will oversee both Mechanical & Electrical systems and infrastructure operations, ensuring reliable performance of power, cooling, security, and capacity planning. The role covers developing SOPs, maintaining compliance with industry standards, leading and mentoring a technical team, managing vendors and budgets, supporting co-location customers, and driving projects such as installations, migrations, and upgrades, while providing strategic updates to senior management.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and possess over 10 years of progressive experience in data centre operations. You should have proven exposure to both M&E systems and infrastructure operations, with strong knowledge of critical systems including power distribution, cooling, networking, and security. Experience in leading technical teams in mission-critical environments is essential, along with familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks. Strong communication, customer management, and project management skills are required. Certifications such as CDCP, CDCS, CDCE, or ITIL will be advantageous.
