Our client, a leading institution in Singapore’s public healthcare sector, is seeking a seasoned and driven professional to join their hospital development team as a Project Manager (Healthcare Infrastructure). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure in Singapore.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a high-impact healthcare development project, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced and purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and coordination of hospital development activities, working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Facilitate productive discussions with users during the design, construction, and post-construction phases, including integration of medical equipment and facilities maintenance.
- Drive the collection and resolution of user requirements, ensuring timely approvals and accurate documentation throughout all project stages.
- Support budgetary planning and ensure proposed designs are delivered within approved timelines and cost parameters.
- Administer project processes in compliance with institutional policies and maintain robust documentation practices.
- Stay abreast of healthcare planning trends and contribute to strategic development discussions.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical), Building Science, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, ideally with a strong foundation in project management.
- Prior experience in healthcare infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Provide secretariat support and contribute to governance and reporting processes.
