Our client is a global leader in specialty food ingredients, partnering with many of the world’s leading food and beverage manufacturers to develop innovative ingredient solutions.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced technical leader to drive customer success and business growth across the Asia Pacific region. This is a highly visible regional role where you will combine hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, working closely with commercial, innovation and R&D teams to develop solutions for customers within the dairy and beverage categories.

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who remain technically hands-on while leading high-performing technical teams.

职责

In this regional leadership position, you will lead and develop a team of technical applications professionals supporting customers across Asia Pacific, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration and customer focus. While providing leadership and coaching to the team, you will also remain actively involved in customer projects, formulation work, troubleshooting and application development, particularly for complex or strategic opportunities where senior technical expertise is required.

Working closely with commercial colleagues, you will partner on strategic customer opportunities by translating technical challenges into commercially viable ingredient solutions that accelerate business growth. You will collaborate extensively with Innovation, R&D, Marketing and Product Management teams to ensure customer needs are translated into differentiated products and successful market outcomes. In addition, you will drive continuous improvement across technical capabilities, customer engagement practices and regional processes to ensure consistent service excellence across multiple markets.

要求

The successful candidate will possess a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or a related discipline, together with significant industry experience supporting dairy and beverage applications. Deep technical expertise within the dairy category is essential, and we welcome candidates from both B2B food ingredient suppliers and B2C food manufacturers who have developed strong formulation, application development and customer-facing experience.

You should have previous experience leading and developing technical or applications teams while remaining passionate about being directly involved in solving customer challenges and working alongside your team. Strong stakeholder management skills, commercial awareness and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, commercial and innovation functions are equally important. Prior regional experience supporting customers across Asia Pacific will be highly advantageous.
