Overview

Our client is a leading developer of high-performance infrastructure, currently expanding its regional engineering capabilities. As part of this growth, they are seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to drive the design and delivery of efficient, scalable mechanical systems for complex, mission-critical environments, with a strong focus on data centres.

This role can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

职责

You will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of mechanical systems across data centre projects. This includes overseeing cooling and ventilation design, ensuring optimal thermal performance, and delivering solutions that balance efficiency, cost, and sustainability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration across disciplines, while also providing technical oversight during project execution, including troubleshooting and design optimisation.

In addition, you will engage with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle, contribute to the development of engineering standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation. Mentoring and knowledge sharing within the engineering team will also form part of your remit.

You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including hands-on involvement in data centre or other mission-critical projects.

You bring a strong understanding of cooling systems, thermal dynamics, and operational efficiency, along with experience spanning both design and delivery phases.

Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate technical concepts effectively to a broad range of stakeholders. Relevant professional certifications will be advantageous.
