PowerBI Automation Engineer

We are partnering with an established organisation within the trading environment. As part of their ongoing transformation agenda, the organisation is seeking a PowerBI Automation Engineer to drive automation and process optimisation initiatives across finance operations, with a focus on back office, accounting, and risk functions.

职责

You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation solutions across core finance processes, including trade and position reconciliation, margin and broker reconciliations, cash forecasting, FX reconciliation, invoicing, settlements, and confirmation workflows. Working closely with finance, accounting, and risk stakeholders, you will identify inefficiencies and transform manual, spreadsheet-driven processes into scalable and automated solutions.

In addition, you will leverage tools such as Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Query), Power BI, Excel automation (VBA, Office Scripts), and Python scripting where required. You will also explore the application of GenAI and AI-driven tools to enhance reporting, automate data extraction from financial documents, and support validation and anomaly detection processes. As part of the role, you will contribute to process standardisation, improve operational controls, and support ongoing transformation initiatives.

要求

You are ideally equipped with experience within trading, banking, commodities, or financial services environments, with a good understanding of finance operations including reconciliation, settlements, invoicing, and cash management processes. You should possess hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Platform tools, and Excel-based automation, with exposure to Python or similar scripting languages being advantageous.

Experience or interest in GenAI and AI-assisted automation tools will be viewed favourably. To succeed in this role, you should be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
