Legal Counsel, LNG (Energy Company)

Kerry Consulting is partnering exclusively with a leading global energy company that is seeking a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to join its Singapore team. This role is a brand new headcount to support the business growing international LNG portfolio. In this role, you will be reporting to the General Counsel and will be providing legal support across the LNG value chain.

职责

You will advise on complex LNG transactions, including drafting and negotiating SPAs, master agreements, term sheets, and shipping contracts, while also supporting regulatory matters, dispute resolution, and transaction execution. The role also involves contributing to M&A and project financing work, including financing documentation, due diligence, and compliance processes.

In addition, you will handle general commercial contracts and support corporate governance matters such as board materials, entity management, and internal policies for the Singapore entity.

要求

In order to be successful in this role, you should be a UK, US or Australia qualified lawyer with significant experience and exposure to the LNG business. Prior in-house experience will be advantageous but not necessary. Candidates from leading law firms are welcome to apply. You should have strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements along with a solid understanding of market dynamics and risk allocation.
