VP, Legal Counsel, M&A

Kerry Consulting is working with a Singapore Headquartered Company with a strong business focus in Energy Solution to look for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Group Legal function. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 seasoned lawyers covering a broad range of corporate commerical matters.

职责

In this role, you will oversee a broad range of legal matters, including corporate commercial matters for energy solutions, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures. You will also play a key role in advancing research, development, and implementation of new energy solutions, handling procurement contracts and tenders, managing claims, disputes, and litigious matters, as well as overseeing general corporate and commercial affairs such as loan agreements, lease agreements, and employment matters.

You will also assist in managing external legal firms, monitoring legal risks across various functions, and ensuring teams are kept up to date with new laws and regulations. 要求

You should ideally be a Singapore qualified lawyer with at least 20 years PQE with strong expertise in M&A and / or EPC related matters. You should possess excellent legal analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills, with a commercial mindset and strong business acumen to understand business goals and strategy. Your communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities will be key in this role, as well as your ability to take initiative, drive projects, and maintain a strong sense of accountability.
