The Opportunity
As an Associate researcher at Kerry, you will receive top class candidate acquisition training from senior researchers and senior directors. You will be provided close guidance in understanding the internal structures of an organisation and identifying the right profiles for a mandate.
From Financial Services to FMCG, Technology, Oil & Gas and Biotechnology etc, the coverage will range from niche specialty profiles to senior heads of department to C-suite levels. You will gather market intelligence, market map and deliver key talents for the assignments.
Progressively, you will develop subject matter expertise in specific functions and industries. You will hone candidate engagement skills with close guidance from the research team and Directors, and you will be directly exposed to the nuances of the search industry.
Job Scope
- Partner with Senior Consultants and Directors on fulfilling mid to senior mandates
- Understand the requirements for the mandate and formulate a search strategy with the consultants
- Research and identify talents through various platforms across relevant industries
- Reach out via multiple channels and present opportunities to the identified talent effectively while understanding their career goals and aspirations
- Educate stakeholders on your findings and provide relevant insights including opinions on talent availability within an industry
- Be resourceful and innovative in tackling challenges that appear during the search process
Requirements
- Demonstrates strong levels of reasoning and problem-solving skills to overcome roadblocks
- Excellent communications skills and conversational ability
- Comfortable with being on the phone, handling objections, and be able to convert contacts to warm acquaintances
- Disciplined with integrity and ability to exercise high levels of discretion in a confidential environment
- High level of organisational capability, possess an eye for details and being disciplined to stick to datelines
- Interest in current affairs and market developments and possess a keen sense of commercial acumen
- Fresh university graduates or professionals with up to five years of postgraduate experience are encouraged to apply
