Property Accountant- 6 Month Contract

Location: Central Singapore

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a real estate investment platform to hire a Property Accountant to support a portfolio of properties. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure in property-level accounting and group reporting within a dynamic real estate environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports for assigned properties

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities

• Assist in the consolidation of property results for group reporting purposes

• Collaborate with property managers and asset management teams to provide financial insights and analysis

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal control requirements

• Support quarterly reviews and annual audit processes, including liaising with external auditors

• Participate in accounting system enhancements and/or chart of accounts implementation

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

• At least 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience; prior exposure to property or real estate accounting would be advantageous

• Sound understanding of accounting fundamentals; exposure to consolidation processes is beneficial

• Familiarity with SAP systems is an advantage

• Working knowledge of Singapore GST and ACAP reporting would be an added advantage

• Strong attention to detail with good organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Flexibility to support peak reporting and audit periods when required
