AVP – Regulatory & Management Reporting

Our client, an international corporate and investment banking group, is seeking an experienced Finance professional to join its Singapore team.

Responsibilities
This role will support the full spectrum of finance and regulatory reporting activities, including monthly financial close, management and P&L reporting, and ongoing regulatory reporting to the local authorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial records, maintaining strong governance and control over accounting data, and escalating any exceptions in a timely manner to senior finance management.

The position will also contribute to financial planning activities such as annual budgeting and regular performance reviews, and will be involved in corporate tax matters and statutory reporting obligations, including participation in annual tax filings and international reporting frameworks. In addition, the role will provide finance and accounting advisory support to business and product teams, including the review of new products and initiatives from an accounting, tax and systems perspective.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with a recognised degree in accountancy or equivalent and at least ten years of relevant experience within the finance function of a bank or comparable financial institution. The role requires a hands-on and systems-oriented professional who is comfortable working across multiple platforms, demonstrates strong analytical and communication skills, and brings a disciplined approach to processes, data governance and internal controls. Experience in managing or supervising others would be advantageous. The successful individual will be able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver under tight reporting and regulatory deadlines.
