Commercial Manager (Food Ingredients) – based in Malaysia

An established global ingredients company is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive business growth and key account expansion within the savory food segment in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Regional Head of Sales, you will lead revenue, margin, and volume grow for Malaysia. You will develop and execute strategic business and key account plans aligned with regional initiatives, while identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Asia and globally to deliver integrated sales and marketing strategies. You will strengthen channel partner capabilities, manage pricing strategies, and monitor competitive activity. You will also build brand presence within the savory food industry, deliver customer presentations, support regulatory awareness, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through close coordination with internal teams.
Requirements:
Ideally, you hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of experience in industrial food ingredient sales within Malaysia. You possess a deep understanding of the local market and have a strong track record of developing new business, especially in the savoury category. You bring excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels. A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to independently drive business growth is essential. Willingness to travel within Malaysia is required.
