Director, FIG/NBFI Coverage – Major Financial Institution

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of the Financial Institutions Group, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and deepening the Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) business and providing comprehensive client coverage. This includes delivering tailored solutions through close collaboration with internal stakeholders and product specialists, driving innovative financing and global markets strategies and actively managing credit within the existing portfolio. You will contribute to relationship strategies and business development across financing, financial markets, trade and treasury, corporate finance, hedging and cash clearing, ensuring alignment with the bank’s global corporate banking objectives. Additionally, you will manage risk and compliance, maintain robust account plans, support seamless transaction execution and leverage the bank’s global network by introducing clients to affiliates and partner banks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a FIG/ NBFI coverage role, with expertise across financing, capital and global markets. You bring exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, combined with strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities across products and regions. Highly proactive and self-driven, you stay ahead of market trends and industry developments, consistently identifying new business opportunities to achieve revenue and growth targets. A solid understanding of credit risk is essential, as you will ensure the portfolio remains well-managed and compliant with regulatory and compliance standards.
