Exclusive Mandate – Employment Counsel, 7+ PQE
We are exclusively partnering with a leading diversified Group to appoint a Legal Counsel specialising in employment law. This is a hands-on, regional in-house role, ideal for a lawyer confident in advising across HR functions, operations, and senior leadership teams.
This opportunity is suited to someone looking to join a stable and reputable organisation, with the ability to make a meaningful legal impact across a broad operational footprint in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and day-to-day legal advice on all aspects of employment law, including employee relations, performance management, terminations, grievances, investigations, and restructuring.
- Partner closely with the HR team to support workforce compliance, policy development, and risk mitigation.
- Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements, including employment contracts, consultancy agreements, and other workforce-related documentation.
- Advise on workplace disputes, internal investigations, and potential litigation risks.
- Ensure ongoing legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions and contribute to training initiatives for HR and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience, including solid in-house experience.
- Deep expertise in employment law, ideally across multiple jurisdictions within the region.
- Proven ability to work effectively with HR and senior management in a fast-paced environment.
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
