We are partnering with a leading investment platform to hire a Senior Manager, Fund Accounting. This is a high-impact operational leadership role within the fund administration business, offering the opportunity to manage a dedicated client portfolio, lead regional fund operations, and drive process improvement and automation initiatives across a dynamic, cross-border environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day fund finance operations for a dedicated real estate private equity fund client, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, fund consolidation, and investor reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Serve as the key operational contact for the client, managing stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced environment.
- Review complex fund accounting matters and provide technical guidance to the team on fund structures and operational processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team while working closely with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues, streamline workflows, and continuously improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards while maintaining high levels of accuracy and governance.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in fund finance, fund accounting, or fund administration, with strong exposure to funds.
- Strong understanding of fund structures, fund accounting, investor reporting, consolidation, and the end-to-end fund lifecycle.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing client relationships within a fund services environment.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational execution and leadership responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience driving process improvement, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage demanding institutional clients.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset and an interest in leveraging technology and AI to enhance operations.
