Head of AI – B2B Engineering & Manufacturing – Singapore

We are partnering with a global B2B engineering and manufacturing leader to hire a Head of AI Innovation to lead the development and application of artificial intelligence across core business and technical functions. This role will shape and execute the company’s AI roadmap to drive operational efficiency, product innovation, and competitive differentiation.

Role

You will lead AI-driven initiatives across the business, identifying and executing high-impact use cases in areas such as predictive maintenance, quality inspection, supply chain analytics, and engineering simulation.

Collaborating with stakeholders in R&D, engineering, manufacturing, and digital transformation, you will drive the development and deployment of machine learning and data science solutions aligned with strategic goals.

Key focus areas include industrial computer vision, time-series analytics, generative AI for engineering, and applied machine learning. You will also play a key role in building internal AI capabilities, evaluating new technologies, and guiding innovation across global teams.

Requirement

You are degree-qualified with 8–12 years of experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or data science, including applied experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.

You bring strong technical expertise in Python, ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and cloud-based AI tools (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience working with real-world industrial data or building AI solutions for physical systems is a strong advantage.

You have a strategic mindset, solid communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value. Familiarity with Industry 4.0, MLOps, and AI product development is highly valued.
