Head of Quantity Surveying

A prominent real estate developer in Singapore is seeking a Head of Quantity Surveying to lead and strengthen their cost management function across a diverse development portfolio.

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for overseeing end-to-end cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and commercial management across multiple large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

Reporting to senior leadership, the Head of Quantity Surveying will lead the full spectrum of cost and commercial management across the development lifecycle. The role will oversee cost planning, value engineering, tender strategy, and contractor negotiations to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets and timelines. You will establish robust cost control, reporting, and risk management frameworks, while providing strategic commercial advice to internal stakeholders. In addition, you will lead and mentor the Quantity Surveying team, drive best practices across projects, and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and partners to support successful project execution.

Requirements

You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline and bring proven leadership experience within a real estate developer. You will have a strong track record managing large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments in Singapore, with deep knowledge of local construction contracts, regulations, and market practices. Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders are essential for success in this role.
