Head of Total Rewards, Singapore
There is now an excellent opportunity for an experience Total Rewards leader to make a significant impact to the esteem organization. As the functional head of Total Rewards, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive compensation and benefits programs that support the institution’s mission, values, and strategic goals. This position requires a dynamic leader who can ensure that all compensations and benefits initiatives are competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with best practices.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will play a key role in
advancing the institution’s commitment to employee well-being and satisfaction. Develop and implement salary structures, pay policies, and guidelines that reflect industry standards and support institutional goals. Conduct salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and market analysis to ensure competitive pay positioning within the education sector. Partner with departments to establish consistent job levelling and grading that align with institution standards. Oversee the annual compensation review process, ensuring equity, compliance, and alignment with budgetary constraints.
Support the Head of HR, in preparing and managing the compensation and benefits budget, ensuring cost-effective program design and administration. Analyze the financial impact of compensation and benefits changes, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making. Manage the institution’s benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and leave policies. Supervise and mentor the C&B team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience with salary benchmarking, manpower planning & budgeting, wellness programs and oversee payroll. You will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 15 years of Compensation & Benefits corporate experience and prior team management track record. Possess analytical and problem-solving skill. In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations. Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation of HR metrics.
