      Our client is a well-established, multinational conglomerate with diverse operations across Asia. Reporting to the Regional Group Shared Services Director, you will lead HR shared services function in Malaysia, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and seamless service delivery in a fast-paced environment. This is a high-impact leadership role that offers the opportunity to shape and elevate the HR Services agenda as the organization transforms.

      Responsibilities
      You will be responsible for leading a team of HR SSC professionals, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant delivery of HR operations. You will oversee key functions such as onboarding, payroll, employee queries, and offboarding, while ensuring policies and procedures are consistently applied to create a positive employee experience. Your role will involve managing payroll operations, guaranteeing timely, accurate processing, and full compliance with local regulations.

      Additionally, you will oversee the management and optimization of HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and identifying areas for improvement. In terms of compliance, you will be responsible for staying up to date with local labor laws, preparing regular reports for senior management, and ensuring the business meets all necessary regulatory requirements through effective audits.

      Driving continuous process improvements will be a major focus, from identifying inefficiencies to implementing better, more streamlined ways of working. You will also act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, working closely with key stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business objectives and ensure top-tier service delivery across the organization.

      Requirements
      The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in HR operations or shared services, with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. A strong background in payroll management, employee life cycle processes, and HR systems is essential.

      Proven experience leading HR shared services or HR operations, ideally in a large FMCG company. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are a must, as the ability to navigate complex HR challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will also be a strategic thinker with a strong service orientation, capable of balancing operational efficiency with a focus on employee experience.
