Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic digital banking and technology initiatives within a fast-paced banking environment. This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional projects, coordinating stakeholders across business and technology teams, and ensuring successful project execution from planning through implementation.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project manager with strong banking domain knowledge and experience driving complex IT and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage project-related activities, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and objectives
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, status reports, and risk logs
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues, dependencies, and resource constraints
- Work closely with business, operations, technology, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across project deliverables
- Manage stakeholder communication across multiple functional teams within the organisation
- Support governance activities including project reporting, documentation, and escalation management
- Drive project execution and facilitate collaboration to ensure delivery quality and stability
- Lead or support medium to large-scale cross-functional technology and digital banking initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of IT project management experience within the banking or financial services sector
- At least 3 years of experience managing large cross-functional technology projects
- Strong understanding of digital banking platforms, processes, and customer journeys
- Proven track record delivering complex IT or transformation projects within regulated environments
- PMP or equivalent project management certification will be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve issues proactively, and drive project outcomes independently
