Legal Counsel, Corporate

Kerry Consulting is partnering with a Singapore-headquartered organization to hire a Legal Counsel to join their legal team. This role will provide legal support across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Responsibilities:

As the Legal Counsel for the organization, you will:

• Review and draft a wide range of commercial agreements, including service agreements, SaaS contracts, vendor and contractor agreements, and NDAs.
• Lead and provide legal support on M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic investments as and when they arise.
• Advise senior management on legal strategy, risk, and compliance, ensuring that business decisions align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Enhance and maintain internal policy frameworks and corporate governance guidelines to minimize legal and regulatory risks.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, to effectively address and resolve legal and compliance matters.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in a general corporate practice, either in a law firm or an in-house environment.
• Strong experience in corporate and commercial matters; exposure to M&A and investments will be an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment with a high degree of independence.
