Legal Counsel (Technology)
Kerry Consulting is partnering with a a leading pan-Asian Organization that is looking to hire a senior Technology Lawyer to join its Group Legal team. Reporting to the Head of Legal, this role supports a broad portfolio spanning technology, digital, e-commerce, loyalty, and compliance, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Responsibilities
You will lead on a wide range of technology contracts, including software licensing, SaaS and cloud arrangements, systems integration, outsourcing, and IT services. Partnering with technology and procurement teams, you will provide commercially focused advice while managing legal risk.
In parallel, you will advise on data protection, cyber incidents, and emerging areas such as generative AI, alongside broader compliance frameworks and internal policies. You will also stay close to regulatory developments in the tech space and support wider group legal matters as required.
Requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you should be a qualified lawyer with at least 8 years PQE ideally trained in a reputable international law firm. Candidate with in-house experience will have an advantage. You should have a good knowledge in technology contracting, alongside a solid grasp of data protection, IP, consumer law, and evolving tech regulation.
