Management Consultant (Commodities Trading)

This is an established Management Consultancy firm focusing with hubs in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia. Due to business demand and expansion, the Commodities team is looking to hire a Management Consultant to join their team.

Responsibilities

Working with a team of highly experienced management consultants and team leads, the management consultant will be part of a greater team, executing change and transformation projects for clients within Commodities. The nature of such projects include designing trading operating models, developing delivery roadmaps, and advising on trading system selections, particularly in CTRM/ ETRM. This role requires regular interaction with clients to understand their needs and solve complex challenges while coaching internal and client teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. Building trusted relationships with key stakeholders and contributing to business growth initiatives will be an integral part of the role.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in Business, Finance, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in a management consulting or internal consulting role, particularly within the commodities trading or energy sectors. Demonstrable expertise in managing projects or change initiatives within in-house or in professional services is key to the success of this role. Solid understanding of trading operations, risk management practices, and the technical aspects of systems like CTRM/ETRM will be preferred. You will also be described as an effective communicator and an excellent project manager, with high levels of client-centricity.
