Principal SAP EPM & Finance Architect | Digital Transformation Lead

Responsibilities
In this high-impact role, you will act as the Techno-Functional Lead, steering the design of end-to-end planning and consolidation solutions from the ground up. You will play a pivotal part in a landmark digital transformation, joining the core project team tasked with upgrading the group from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. This journey includes directly influencing the transition to Group Reporting and taking the reins in evaluating the software platforms that will eventually replace current SAP BPC systems, whether that involves SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), OneStream, or Anaplan.
Beyond the technical implementation, you will bridge the gap between finance and technology by partnering with business leaders to translate complex requirements into high-performance architecture. You will be responsible for setting the gold standard for the organization, establishing enterprise-wide protocols for Script Logic, EPM templates, and transports to ensure long-term scalability. As a senior leader, you will also find fulfillment in mentoring a high-performing technical team and managing the expectations of senior stakeholders across the entire group.

Requirements
You are an expert with a proven track record in high-level EPM architecture, having successfully delivered large-scale implementations centered on financial consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting. Your technical mastery is rooted in deep SAP BPC expertise, where you have become an authority on administration, multi-model architecture, and the sophisticated “heavy lifting” required for Advanced Script Logic and BAdI development.
This role requires a rare blend of technical and financial fluency; you will bring a strong grasp of SAP S/4HANA FICO (or ECC) and Group Reporting that allows you to speak the language of both accountants and developers with ease. Your background in data mastery includes extensive BW/ETL knowledge, specifically regarding HANA optimization and complex integration patterns. Finally, you will bring strategic leadership qualities that extend beyond technical prowess, including the ability to manage diverse teams, lead strategic planning, and navigate the nuances of cloud architecture and security best practices.
