Python Automation Engineer

Our client is a leading global organisation undergoing a large-scale transformation programme across APAC. They are seeking a hands-on Python Automation Engineer to drive the automation of business-critical workflows and reduce reliance on manual, spreadsheet-based processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade Python solutions to automate operational workflows
- Build and optimise data pipelines, scripts, and automation tools across multiple functions
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and implement automation opportunities
- Integrate solutions with existing systems, databases, and reporting platforms
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in Python development within enterprise environments
- Proven track record in delivering automation and workflow optimisation solutions
- Experience working with data processing, APIs, and scripting
- Ability to work independently and deliver end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Familiarity with AI / GenAI-driven automation
- Experience within financial services, trading, or operational environments
