Regional Program Manager – Sustainability, Climate & Energy Transition

We are partnering with a global organisation focused on sustainable development to recruit for a Regional Programs Manager. This strategic role combines multi-country program coordination with planning, risk management, and general operational oversight to drive impactful climate and energy transition initiatives.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will drive regional strategy implementation, oversee budget management, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives. Your scope includes identifying and evaluating opportunities across Southeast Asian markets while maintaining existing programs and partnerships. Core responsibilities encompass data management, grant and contract administration, risk management, and stakeholder coordination across government and development sectors. You will work closely with the monitoring and evaluation team to assess progress and refine strategies.
Requirements
You bring a relevant degree, ideally in engineering, business, or international development, coupled with 7-10 years of experience in the environmental or energy sector. Your strong analytical capabilities are complemented by a deep understanding of Asian energy markets and technical assessment skills. Success in this role requires exceptional project management abilities, outstanding communication skills, and proven strategic thinking. You thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, demonstrate strong stakeholder management experience, and excel at building partnerships. Your adaptable nature and attention to detail enable you to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards in a dynamic environment.
