Senior Corporate Banker, Large Local Corporates – Major Financial Institution

Our client is a major financial institution with a strong and growing presence in Asia. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to assume a senior coverage role, focusing on Large Local Corporates in Singapore.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Banker to manage and grow relationships with large Singapore-based corporates, government-linked entities, family conglomerates and listed market leaders. The role focuses on delivering holistic financing and advisory solutions while acting as a long-term strategic partner to C-suite and treasury leadership.

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for owning and deepening senior relationships with CEOs, CFOs, and Group Treasurers of large local corporates, while originating and executing bilateral and syndicated loans, structured and project financing, refinancing, and capital optimisation solutions. It involves driving cross-sell across Transaction Banking, DCM, ECM, Markets, Trade, FX, and Cash Management through a true one-bank approach, as well as leading credit structuring, approvals, and negotiations in a manner that balances client objectives with strong risk discipline. The role also supports clients in regional expansion, infrastructure investments, M&A financing, and balance sheet strategy across ASEAN and beyond, coordinating closely with internal product and risk teams to ensure seamless execution and high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements

The role requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience in Corporate Banking with proven expertise covering GLCs / large local corporates portfolio coverage. Candidates should demonstrate proven execution experience across multi-product solutions including corporate lending, project & structured finance, syndicated loans, trade & cash solutions, and capital markets products, alongside strong credit judgement, stakeholder management, and negotiation capabilities. The ability to engage confidently at board, C-suite, and senior stakeholder management experience is essential.
