Senior Legal Counsel, EPC

About the Company
Our client is an organization operating across the shipping and renewable energy sectors. With a growing global footprint and a diverse portfolio of projects, the legal team is looking to hire a legal counsel with expertise in construction or marine related project matters to join the organization.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting the business across a broad spectrum of legal, commercial and strategic matters. You will provide legal support for day-to-day operations, including the drafting, review and negotiation of commercial and procurement agreements, while helping to establish and implement global legal frameworks, policies and best practices. The role will also involve advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and new business initiatives, as well as managing litigation, disputes and regulatory matters. In addition, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and evolving regulations across the offshore, marine and renewables industries.
Requirements
You are a qualified lawyer with at least 10 years PQE with strong experience supporting multinational businesses in a commercial legal capacity. Prior exposure to the offshore, marine, energy, infrastructure or renewables sectors will be advantageous. Candidates coming straight from law firm are welcome to apply.
