Senior Manager, Controllership and FP&A

About the Role
This is a leading company in the digital entertainment industry. We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Senior Manager – Controllership and FP&A to lead our finance operations and planning functions. Reporting to the CFO and General Manager of the one of the high growth Business Unit, this is a pivotal role to support strategic business growth, provide financial insights, and ensure robust financial governance. You will manage a team of four finance professionals and play a key role in elevating our financial capabilities using modern technology tools and sound leadership principles.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Manager of Controllership and FP&A, you will oversee all core finance functions, including financial reporting, compliance, strategic planning, and performance analysis, while leading a dynamic team of four finance professionals. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closes, maintaining robust internal controls, and managing regulatory and audit compliance in partnership with external auditors and tax advisors. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, providing insightful financial analysis and dynamic dashboards that enable informed decision-making. Working closely with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders, you will support the business unit’s strategic growth objectives. As a people leader, you will mentor and inspire your team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Additionally, you will champion the adoption of modern finance technologies such as Power BI and Power Automate, driving automation and process improvements that scale with the business and enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with a CPA or CA qualification strongly preferred. You will bring at least 10 years of progressive experience spanning both controllership and FP&A, along with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing finance teams. A strong commercial mindset and excellent communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders. Ideally, you bring prior experience managing inventory and product flow to effectively oversee the day-to-day operations related to trading goods. Proven experience collaborating with senior executives and cross-functional teams is critical to success in this role. Familiarity with NetSuite, Power BI, Power Automate, is a plus.
