    Description

    We are partnering with a Leading Commodities Firm to recruit for the Sustainability team in Singapore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the sustainability narrative for a company with global operations spanning multiple continents. You will play a crucial part in shaping and communicating the firm’s sustainability strategy, contributing significantly to its reputation as an industry leader in this space.

    Responsibilities

    You’ll develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability communications strategy in line with the organisation’s goals. Your task is to craft customised narratives for various audiences – customers, investors, bankers, and employees. You’ll spearhead sustainability marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, partner with worldwide divisions, government agencies, NGOs, and industry groups, and oversee content showcasing the organisation’s sustainability accomplishments. You’ll represent the firm in sustainability-related media enquiries, support executive leadership in public engagements, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to amplify sustainability initiatives. Moreover, you’ll establish metrics to gauge communication impact and collaborate with the crisis communication team to handle reputational challenges.

    Requirements

    You are degree-qualified in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. You possess at least 7 years of related experience in sustainability and communications, preferably in commodities or agriculture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is strong business acumen. To succeed in this role, you must be proactive, self-driven with good organisational and project management skills. Willingness to travel is required.
