SVP/ Director – Loan Syndications (APAC)
Description
We are working with a leading financial institution that is looking to hire a seasoned professional to join its Asia-Pacific Syndicated Finance team.
Responsibilities
This senior-level role will focus on loan syndication across structured lending products, with an emphasis on leveraged finance and project finance transactions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end syndication process – from structuring and underwriting support to investor distribution and secondary market sell-down.
This individual will work closely with internal product partners to develop syndication strategies, assess market liquidity, and engage with a wide network of institutional investors to ensure effective distribution. A strong understanding of structured lending products, excellent credit skills, and the ability to make sound underwriting recommendations are essential. The candidate must also have a strong grasp of market trends and demonstrate the ability to independently manage complex transactions while contributing as part of a collaborative team.
Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 12 years’ experience in the syndicated loan space in Asia, ideally with prior exposure to leveraged or project finance. A strong network of buy-side investor relationships, along with excellent communication and presentation skills, is expected.
