Technology Services Lead – APAC
This is an opportunity to join a reputable global bank in a senior individual contributor role within its Global Incident and Technology Services function. The bank is investing in the strength and consistency of its technology services and incident response capability to support business continuity and protect its brand across the APAC region.
As the Technology Services Lead for APAC, you will be accountable for leading the response to major technology incidents and driving service recovery across the region. You will act as the regional authority during high-severity outages, working closely with global counterparts, regional technology teams, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
You will lead and coordinate the response to major technology incidents across APAC, ensuring timely stabilisation and recovery of services. You will manage communication throughout the incident lifecycle, providing clear updates to senior stakeholders and ensuring effective coordination across teams and locations. Following incidents, you will lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes and improvement opportunities, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of incident management processes, standards, and controls.
Requirements
You have a strong understanding of the end-to-end incident management lifecycle and are comfortable leading major incidents in a hands-on capacity. You communicate clearly and confidently with a global audience, working effectively with both senior stakeholders and technical teams. Experience within the banking or broader financial services industry is required, along with the ability to operate in a complex, regulated environment.
