Our client is a reputable global firm, renowned for its comprehensive services in trust and estate planning, wealth management, tax advisory, accounting, and audit. Specializing in bespoke, high-quality solutions, they serve a distinguished clientele of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Trust Officer to manage a client portfolio of family and family office trust structures holding both financial and non-financial assets. The role will support ultra-high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs with international holdings across multiple jurisdictions. You are required to administer complex trusts and private trust companies, ensuring proper onboarding, AML/CFT compliance, and fiduciary duties are met. This involves reviewing asset injections, managing beneficiary distributions, handling variations to letters of wishes, maintaining accurate trust records, and overseeing periodic compliance checks. You will also review financial statements for accuracy and ensure trust structures remain up-to-date with ongoing due diligence requirements.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate should hold an internationally recognized professional qualification, such as CA, ACCA, CFA, or STEP, and possess at least five years of practical experience in administering a portfolio of trust clients. They must demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills, excellent time management, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities. The role requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and work in different time zones when necessary due to the diverse international clientele. Computer literacy is essential, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Additionally, the candidate should have strong presentation and relationship-building skills, enabling them to conduct high-level meetings with clients, prospects, and legal/tax advisors.
